What's Goin On

Here's what's been going on-

In February we went to Naples, Pompeii, and the Amalfi coast with the kids. Then Jason and I went to Rome without the kids.

We were able to go back to the States and visit family and friends for a month, and then we were back in Germany for a few days only to leave again for England. We drove through Belgium and stayed the night in Brussels. I have never tasted anything as divine as a Belgian waffle with chocolate, fresh whipped cream, and strawberries. Even the waffles without any extras were amazing. I definitely want to find a recipe. The next day we were off to Brugge, Belgium. We loved exploring the town and the boat ride along the canal. I even picked up a nice Delft vase at a street market.

That evening, we took the ferry from Calais, France to Dover. It's a good thing we didn't fly because all flights were canceled after the eruption of the volcano in Iceland. As much as I love England, I wouldn't be ok with being stranded here. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm ready to go back home to normal everyday life. We've been all over England, even just the three kids and I while Jason has been in school here. There will be more about our adventures later, including pictures... but for now can I just say I am a little tired of traveling? 2 more days and I'll be home :)

How exciting!!!
You sure have been everywhere and back in the states for a month?! I bet you loved it. Wish we could have gotten together. Next time, come to Texas... (smile)
Have fun the next 2 days and then post all your fun pictures. Can't wait to see them!!

Kyle and I were so bummed that we missed seeing you and your family while you were here. We planned our trip to Montana at the wrong time I guess.
It looks like you have been busy and had a lot of fun. However, there isn't anything quite like home.:)
